The Consumer Footprint Calculator (CFC) is a tool that EU citizens can use to assess the environmental impact of their consumption patterns, thus raising awareness towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
The CFC is an integral part of the KnowSDGs platform developed by the European Commission and helps provide a roadmap for achieving a sustainable development in Europe, monitoring the progress in the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, which are broadly aligned with those of the European Green Deal.

Description

The series of event on the Consumer Footprint Calculator continues: the webinar on 5 June is going to introduce the Calculator as a tool to raise environmental awareness in schools.
You can watch the previous webinar at this link.
We will host a panel of field experts from different DGs of the European Commission, as well as representatives of European school networks and young Climate Pact Ambassadors to discuss on how the Calculator can be implemented in the education of future generations towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
